Stephen Megyery is a Partner in the New York office of Greentech. He has over 15 years of experience advising companies and investors in a variety of sustainable infrastructure sectors. Stephen focuses on private placements, project finance and financial structuring.
His recent transaction experience includes advising OVO Energy, UK’s largest independent energy technology company, on its growth equity financing from Mitsubishi Corporation. Other transaction experience includes advising Layne Christensen on financing as part of its sale to Granite Construction, Stem on its growth equity capital raise, Smart Drive on its growth equity capital raise from Michelin, and Clean Energy Fuels on its sale to BP.
Stephen joined Greentech from Coady Diemar Partners where he worked on M&A and private placements for companies across the sustainable infrastructure sector. Previously, he was a member of the Credit Suisse energy group and prior to that a project engineer at SNC-Lavalin working on international project development.
Stephen holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University Canada. Stephen speaks French and Hungarian.
