Social and Environmental Responsibility
Certified B Corporation
Our mission is to transform how the world does business and that is why we have joined the B Corp community. B Corp companies use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. What this means for our clients is that not only are we saying that we are striving for a common goal of global sustainability but we are proving it as well.

The Three- Pronged Plan
Through our advisory work, Greentech Capital Advisors is helping the world transition to a cleaner, more sustainable and energy-efficient future. In keeping with that mission we have chosen to operate our business in a manner that reduces our environmental impact. Our sustainability initiative focuses on a three-pronged approach.
Carbon Reduction
By doing the small things, we can make a big difference. Our carbon reduction strategy centers around doing the little things that add up to big carbon savings.
- Locating our New York office in a LEED certified building
- Hosting our website from a 100% solar-powered service
- Using hybrid taxis, rental cars and car service
- Videoconferencing instead of air travel
- Using recycled paper, double sided printing, and paperless presentations
- Printing business cards on recycled card stock
- Recycling paper, cans and bottles
- Turning out the lights at the end of each day
Carbon Offsets
Greentech Capital Advisors is a carbon neutral company. We have partnered with First Climate to quantify the size of our carbon footprint and purchase Certified Emission Reductions to offset our emissions.
Charitable Giving
Each year our employees direct a percentage of the firm’s profits to global charities that promote sustainable development. In 2010 Greentech Capital Advisors supported the Clean Economy Network’s “No on 23 Action Fund”. This fund was established to fight attempts to overturn California’s climate and energy law, AB32.
