Bertrand Straub, Principal

Bertrand Straub is a Principal in the Zürich office of Greentech Capital Advisors. As an investment banker for over seven years, Bertrand has a broad range of experience covering virtually all fields of corporate finance. He has contributed to a large variety of transactions including cross-border buy-side and sell-side M&A, IPOs, equity and debt capital raises, spin-offs, financial restructurings as well as defense mandates and fairness opinions.

Bertrand joined Greentech Capital Advisors from UBS where he was in the Investment Banking Department in London and Zürich. During his tenure, Bertrand executed over 15 transactions, with an aggregate value of several billion U.S. dollars, for clients in the industrial, real estate, and retail industries. A number of these deals were some of the most prominent capital markets transactions in Switzerland.

Bertrand holds a Masters of Business Administration from University of Lausanne (HEC), Switzerland. He is a German and French national and is fluent in German, French, and English.
