Jeff McDermott, Managing Partner

Jeff McDermott is the Managing Partner of Greentech Capital Advisors and is responsible for guiding the firm’s growth and vision. He has over 25 years of transaction experience working on complex, large mergers and acquisitions. He brings to our clients knowledge of the valuable capabilities which leading corporations can bring to smaller companies, strong existing relationships and extensive transaction valuation, negotiation and structuring experience. Jeff believes that properly structured investments, partnerships, and acquisitions can create win-win outcomes for leading alternative energy and Sustainable Infrastructure companies as well as the large industrial, power, and energy conglomerates seeking high growth markets.

Prior to founding Greentech Capital Advisors, Jeff was the Joint Global Head of Investment Banking at UBS, where he was responsible for guiding 2,000 bankers conducting business in 44 countries and generating over $4.5 billion of fee revenues. He has covered large industrial conglomerates as a senior banker for almost 20 years and ran the Industrial Groups at both UBS and Citigroup. His investment banking career began in 1984 at Drexel Burnham Lambert’s Beverly Hills office.
