Adam Hinckley, Vice President

Adam brings deep sector knowledge and industry relationships to Greentech Capital Advisors, where he focuses on private capital raises. Working closely with clients to solve their growth financing needs, Adam is responsible for investor outreach and deal execution during the private placement process.  Through an intimate understanding of the buy-side investment process, Adam helps to properly position clients to maximize valuation.

Prior to joining Greentech Capital Advisors, Adam was an analyst at S.A.C. Capital Advisors, focusing on the solar, wind, electric vehicle, smart grid and LED sectors. Adam was responsible for providing equity investment recommendations for inclusion into the firm’s portfolio from the Sustainable Infrastructure universe across all geographies.

Adam began his career on the sell-side in equity research at CIBC World Markets, where he covered a variety of technology sectors, including clean technology and was their Senior Alternative Energy Equity Research Analyst. During this time, he worked on the IPOs for 7 solar companies and was frequently quoted in financial and industry publications.

Adam received his BA from New York University, where he majored in Economics. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
